Atomsmith® Classroom Online Educational Service Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP")

Policy Effective Date: 1 August 2022

Bitwixt Software Systems LLC ("Provider") provides an online educational service ("Service") for learning about the structure and properties of matter. This document outlines Provider's goals and what Provider considers acceptable (and unacceptable) use. Feel free to email with questions.

As a User of the Service, you acknowledge that the Internet contains content that may be considered obscene, improper, hurtful or otherwise offensive and that may not be suitable for certain Users of the Service. You acknowledge that Provider does not consider this acceptable use of the Service, and because of the nature of the Internet, Provider cannot control and is not responsible for where Users may go while using the Service.


To the extent that the Service allows you to post content, you agree not to post content that:

  1. violates, or encourages any conduct that violates laws or regulations;
  2. seeks to harm or exploit children by exposing them to inappropriate content, asking for personally identifiable details or otherwise;
  3. contains any information or content we deem to be hateful, violent, harmful, abusive, racially or ethnically offensive, defamatory, infringing, invasive of personal privacy or publicity rights, harassing, humiliating to other people (publicly or otherwise), libelous, threatening, profane, or otherwise objectionable;
  4. infringes any third party’s intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other personal or proprietary rights;
  5. contains any information or content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships;
  6. is fraudulent, false, misleading, or deceptive.

You also agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  1. Use, display, mirror or frame the Service, any individual element within the Service, the Bitwixt Software Systems LLC or Atomsmith name, trademark, logo or other proprietary information, or the layout and design of any page, without our express written consent;
  2. Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Service, our computer systems, or the technical delivery systems of our providers;
  3. Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Provider system or network or breach any security or authentication measures;
  4. Avoid, bypass, remove, deactivate, impair, descramble or otherwise circumvent any technological measure implemented by Provider or any of our providers or any other third party (including another user) to protect the Service or Provider content;
  5. Attempt to access or search or scrape or download content from Provider, or otherwise use the Service through any engine, software, tool, agent, device or mechanism (including automated scripts, spiders, robots, crawlers, data mining tools or the like) other than the software and/or search agents provided by Provider or other generally available third party web browsers;
  6. Send any unsolicited or unauthorized spam and spam comments;
  7. Use the Service for any Commercial Use or the benefit of any third party, or in any manner not permitted by the Terms of Service, except with the explicit permission of Provider or by Commercial Use Account enrollment (see AUP-C posted at;
  8. Collect or store any personally identifiable information from the Service from other users of the Service without their express permission;
  9. Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  10. Violate any applicable law or regulation; or
  11. Encourage or enable any other individual to do any of the activities prohibited in this Acceptable Use Policy.

Provider reserves the right, but is not obligated, to remove any User content for any reason or for no reason, including User content that Provider believes violates this AUP or its TOS. Provider may also permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend a User Account without notice and liability for any reason, including if, in Provider’s sole determination, a User violates any provision of this AUP, the TOS, or for no reason.
